Through our network of Vision-Aid resource centers across India and our rich offering of online programs Vision-Aid provides a comprehensive range of devices , training and services which offers holistic vision enhancement and vision rehabilitation programs for adults and children who are blind or who have low vision. Vision-Aid innovative programs have won national and international awards and helps to bring independence and dignity to over twenty thousand visually impaired each year. Fostering Inclusive Growth: Vision-Aid’s Collaborative Approach To Vision Rehabilitation at Aravind Eye Care, Madurai
At Vision-Aid, we recognize the power of community in fostering growth and learning. Our dedicated team at the Vision-Aid Resource Centre for Vision Rehabilitation, located within the renowned Aravind Eye Care in Madurai, has identified an approach that enhances therapy for children with cerebral visual impairment (CVI) and multiple disabilities with visual impairment (MDVI). 
Smart Vision Glasses featured on “Indian Idol”
We were thrilled to see our AI-powered Smart Vision Glasses being featured on the popular "Indian Idol" Sony TV show in India.  
Laptop Distribution at NFBM Jagriti Skill Development Center/Vision-Aid Resource Center, Pune
On the 13th of January 2024, a heartwarming event unfolded at the Vision-Aid Resource Center/NFBM Jagriti Skill Development Center in Pune as 12 students were given laptops, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey. 
Vision-Aid’s Journey of Empowerment at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai
At the heart of Chennai's bustling metropolis, one of the sanctuaries of hope and support for the visually impaired, is Vision-Aid's Resource Center at Sankara Nethralaya (SN), where the visually impaired are served by a very capable multi-disciplinary team to undertake a journey towards empowerment and independence. This is one of two resource centers in Chennai Eye Hospitals (the other one being at VHS Hospital). SN 2023 Award.
Launch of a New Vision-Aid Resource Center at Narayana Nethralaya Hospital in Bangalore 
Narayana Nethralaya, a leading eye hospital in Bangalore, has continually demonstrated a commitment to excellence in eye care. This commitment takes a significant leap forward as Narayana Nethralaya proudly joins the Vision-Aid eye hospital network, marking a groundbreaking collaboration for comprehensive vision care and rehabilitation. 
New CVI Resource Center opened in Visakhapatnam, in collaboration with the L.V.Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI)
On Thursday, January 4th, 2024, the Vision-Aid team was honored to participate in the inauguration of the Vasantha-Krupa Palakurthi Vision-Aid CVI Resource center. This center has been established by the L.V.Prasad Eye Institute in collaboration with Vision Aid, USA, and has been generously supported by the Palakurthi foundation in honor of the late Dr. Krupasagar Palakurthi. He was a renowned ophthalmologist from Hyderabad who dedicated his life to serving the underprivileged.  
Touching , Learning and Shining!
An exciting update from our "Touch Learn And Shine" program which brings tactile braille books to children in blind schools in several locations in India, helping them to "visualize" the world by adding rich content in the form of tactile images, diagrams , graphs and charts into the study materials used by the schools.  These books help the students to study STEM subjects more effectively.

Congratulations to Students of our 6th batch of Digital Accessibility Testing (DAT) training program!
In a joyous celebration of achievement, Vision-Aid proudly acknowledges the accomplishment of 17 students who successfully completed our sixth batch of the Digital Accessibility Testing (DAT) training program. Spanning from March to July 2023, this intensive training has equipped these dedicated individuals with invaluable skills required to pursue a career in Digital Accessibility.
