A graduation event was held on June 21st, to recognize and celebrate the success of our inaugural Agentic AI course. We were happy to see our 10 visually impaired graduates present their innovative, real-world projects – and the sophistication and depth surprised most of us. In just 4 months, it was evident the students had acquired deep skills to develop very complex apps – and that too using screen readers.
Our students mastered advanced technologies, including LangChain, LangGraph, and RAG, to build tools that solve complex accessibility challenges. Projects included the “Nifty 50 Stock Analyzer,” a multi-agent system providing real-time financial insights, and an NPA management tool designed to assist bank officials in navigating complex asset regulations. We were equally impressed by the “STEM Accessibility Assistant,” which converts mathematical diagrams into descriptive, accessible explanations for visually impaired learners, and the “AI Resume Automation” tool, which streamlines job applications by connecting directly with LinkedIn.
This special cohort came together from our earlier SQL and Python programs for visually impaired youth: engineering students, arts graduates, Teaching Assistants, former interns, and even a banking professional seeking to upskill. Many began with little exposure to advanced AI but a strong desire to build future-ready skills.
