Developed over the past year by our technology partner, SHG Technologies, based in Bengaluru, in collaboration with Narayana Nethralaya—a leading eye hospital in Karnataka—AURA Vision Glasses have undergone extensive field testing with dozens of patients (see the short video at the end). The official launch took place at Narayana Nethralaya and was attended by notable individuals, including Mr. M.H. Dalmia, a renowned industrialist and philanthropist, along with teams from SHG Technologies, Vision-Aid India, and several visually impaired individuals who received AURA Vision Glasses through the generous support of Mr. M.H. Dalmia.
What Sets AURA Vision Apart?

Designed for individuals with low vision—typically those with visual acuity ranging from 20/200 to 20/400 or with significant field limitations—AURA Vision offers a custom solution that enhances independence and quality of life. While similar devices exist overseas, they are often prohibitively expensive. AURA Vision brings this innovative technology to India at a fraction of the cost, making it more accessible to those who previously had limited options.
