On September 20, 2016, Vision-Aid Vizag initiated a new program to teach college students basics of Access Technology for the visually impaired. This is a unique opportunity for college students interested in volunteering for social causes.
Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College of Engineering for Women, Vizag, was the first institution where the program was offered.
The response from the students was overwhelming. Eighty-four students enrolled in the program. Seven batches of twelve students, each, started their 6 day training on September 20, 2016.
