The center offers vision rehabilitation services to patients with severe vision impairment, Conduct Advanced Training Programs for the Visually Impaired and Provide Affordable Technology devices.

Vision-Aid and Voluntary Health Services have come together to setup The Srinivasan Vision-Aid Resource Center in Chennai, a resource center funded by Mr. Venkat and Pratima Srinivasan, philanthropists from Boston, USA who support the center in honour of their parents Late Mr. Srinivasan Varadarajan and Mrs. Sundara Srinivasan.

The center offers vision rehabilitation services to patients with severe vision impairment, Conduct Advanced Training Programs for the Visually Impaired and Provide Affordable Technology devices.

Vision-Aid and LV Prasad Eye Institute have come together to setup a center of excellence at the LVPEI campus in Hyderabad, India. This was made possible with the generous support of Anuradha and Prashanth Palakurthi, in honour of their dear parents – Mrs. Vasantha Palakurthi and the late Dr. Krupasagar Palakurthi. 

The center offers services in the following 4 areas:

Vision-Aid and Community Eye Care Foundation (CECF) have come together to setup The Dr. Ayyar Vision-Aid Resource Center in Pune, a resource center funded by Ranjani Saigal & Dr. Anil Saigal, philanthropists from USA who support the center in honour of their late father Dr. R. Subrahmonia Ayyar (Former Dean, IIT Bombay).

Sankara Nethralya

Vision-Aid’s collaboration with the Low Vision Clinic at Sankara Nethralaya/Medical Research Foundation started in July 2017 to provide free and subsidized low vision devices to the visually impaired “non-paying” patients. The collaboration has enabled a resplendent 895 patients to be benefitted by Vision-Aid in the past 5 years. The graph below illustrates the number of patients serviced across each quarter with Vision-Aid funds. Those 895 patients received 1266 aids in the form of spectacles, optical aids and non-optical aids.
